I am 5 feet tall and a petite build, which puts me into an 'extreme' catigory for sizing. When I first started to shop for dresses, I was not having the best experiences. It was getting so frustrating and it was far more expensive beyond my expected budget. The assumed alterations to any dress added to the expense of the dress, but also made it very diffecult for me to imagine what the dress would look like after alterations. The option to get my dress made seemed overwhelming but I had ideas in my head that I was not finding in the wedding gown stores. Jeanette was AMAZING working with me delicately and at my own pace as we designed the dress together using the different ideas I had. I depended on her expertise in what would work with my body type. It was like working with my aunt! So comfortable, honest and friendly. I never felt frustrated or uncertain about what I was getting with Jeanette. The dress came out exactly as I imagined and it was so comfortable! Thank you, Jeanette! You are an amazing seamstress, natural perfectionist and so creative!

Something old...
I spent days searching the internet and weeks searchig the stores for the perfect fit...with no luck. It wasn't until a few months before my wedding that I tried om my mothere's dress. We unpacked it gently from the box, where it had spent the last 30 years with such anticipation. The dress was perfect. Rather, it was perfect for someone who was married in the 70s and 10 pounds lighter than I am. My first trip to Jeanette's was filled with laughter, measurements and pictures of an awkward bride-to-be. I had absolute confidence that she could make all the needed alterations as I gave her my ideas. She understood the importance of the unique but classic style I was going for. After only 3 trips to Jeanette's, my beautiful dress was back in my hands. On our wedding night, my husband's words really said it all..."Patricia, your dress looked amazing".

I feel so lucky to have found Jeanette. The last thing I wanted was to not be in love with my wedding dress. So I went on a Yelp mission to find a designer. I didn't get a good feeling from a lot of them. Then I found Jeanette! I sent her pictures of my inspiration. It was a new trend and most of the places I called didn't know what I was talking about. Jeanette's reaction was awesome and she loved my idea! She was thrilled to have the chance to design a crop top wedding gown! We discussed budget, timeline, and her process (she has an impressive background). She is sweet and personable and made me feel so comfortable and I instantly trusted her. I hired her on the spot!
Throughout the process she was very easy to get in touch with. She is super professional, knowledgeable and oh so patient! When she took me to the garment district to pick my lace, she never gave up on finding what I was looking for. I took all of her suggestions, and so should you. Trust me, she knows what she is doing!
